We joined with the Cambridge Branch of the Society of Mary to sing for their annual Solemn Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Little St Mary’s. 2015 saw us tackle Vierne’s Messe Solennelle, a slight departure from settings we have used in previous years. We sang a post-Easter service in Pembroke Chapel on April 15th 2015, singing a selection of celebratory music which included Byrd – Haec dies, Weelkes – Gloria in excelsis Deo, Tomkins – O praise the Lord, all ye heathen, Wesley – Blessed be the God and Father and Dyson – Let all the world in every corner sing. The Tomkins was a particular challenge which we enjoyed taking! Our Christmas service was in Pembroke Chapel on December 15th 2014. We sang an Epiphany Service at All Saints, Milton on Sunday 4th January 2015. The White Horse again proved suitable for refreshment after our efforts. We also sang an Epiphany Evensong in Christ’s College Chapel on Sunday 11th January.
